Frequently Asked Questions
About the Buses
Do I need to pay 100% in advance for a restoration?
Yes, restorations are paid 100% by the client, but in parts according to the progress of the work. We start by signing a clear contract that details the scope, timeline, and payment stages. As the restoration advances, we send regular updates with photos and videos, and payments are made as each stage of the work is completed.
Can I have a bus restored to my specific needs?
Certainly. We are happy to discuss your preferences — from color and interior to technical upgrades. We then carry out a full custom restoration, ensuring the final result matches your vision.
How long does a full restoration take?
A full restoration typically takes around 9 months, depending on the condition of the bus and the specific work required. To achieve a high-quality result, we can spend up to 1,500 hours just on the welding, preparation, and painting of a T1 bus. After assessing the bus, we’ll provide you with a more precise timeline.
Do you offer guarantees on the restorations?
Yes, we take quality seriously. For our European clients, all restoration projects pass through an independent partner garage in the Netherlands for a full quality control check. Every vehicle is delivered with a roadworthy certificate (APK or TÜV). Additionally, we have the engine fully rebuilt by our partner garage in the Netherlands, who provides a 1-year or 10,000 km warranty on the motor. In our experience, the availability of high-quality parts and labor is often better in Europe and the US, which is why we advise doing the engine rebuild outside of Brazil.
About Logistics and Shipping
Can you ship a bus that I have already found?
Yes, absolutely. If you’ve already found a bus, we can take care of the entire logistics process, including transport, export paperwork, and shipping to your desired address.
How and when should I pay?
Once the buyer confirms their interest in purchasing a specific vehicle, we will gather the buyer’s full name and address, then provide a proforma invoice that includes all costs based on the current exchange rate. This invoice is valid for one business day from the date it is issued. Payment is made via bank transfer, with payment instructions provided directly on the proforma invoice.
Is my car insured?
Yes, from the moment we take delivery of your car, it will be fully insured until it reaches the port of delivery.
To which countries do you ship?
We ship worldwide, including to Europe, the United States, Canada, and Australia. Feel free to get in touch with us to discuss shipping options for your country.
Do you offer door-to-door delivery?
For our European clients, we provide a full door-to-door service. For locations outside of Europe, we ship to any port and assist you in finding local agents to handle the import process and delivery of your vehicle.
What are the average shipping costs?
Shipping costs vary depending on the destination, type of shipping (e.g., shared or exclusive container), and additional services like insurance. We are happy to provide a customized quote for you.
Why can’t I purchase my car with PayPal?
PayPal does not offer buyer protection for transactions involving motorized vehicles. Additionally, the high fees associated with PayPal make it an impractical option for this type of purchase.
